Cormac McGraneCormac McGrane is the managing director of THG Ireland Limited, the Irish distributor of The McQuaig System™ and a number of other HR diagnostic and developmental tools.  .  These connections provide a great source of up-to-date learning on new developments within the field.

For over 20 years he has worked with a large number of Irish businesses and organisations across the private, public and voluntary sectors.  He is one of the country’s leading authorities on the application of Psychometric and Structured Assessment techniques in the workplace.  Cormac’s primary area of expertise is in all aspects of the recruitment and selection process, from the strategic to the practical.

In recent years he has begun to advise clients on a new approach to people selection and development, by developing methods of integrating the selection process into the staff development and performance management processes.  This approach streamlines a number of core HR strategies and creates a more effective and focused management methodology.

Stress has always been a factor in management; however it has rarely been tackled as a management performance issue.  Cormac’s experience in this area allows him to advise clients on effective stress and pressure management strategies.  With stress and its often serious impact on workers at all levels becoming a financial and legal burden for organisations, the management of stress is finally being taken seriously by HR managers and senior executives.

James McGovernJames McGovern is an Experienced Professional with a proven sales and management background.  He has worked in Sales and Marketing at Management & Director Level in Ireland, Europe and the US.

He began his career in 1986 following an education in finance and construction technology.  Since then he has worked in the construction sector at commercial sales and technical support rising to management level.  He moved to a senior sales and account management role in the medical sector in late 1998.  In the Medical Sector he has worked at senior management level in a Sales and Marketing capacity before moving into a Sales and Marketing Director Role with a large Financial Services Corporation. In 2005 he took on a Consultancy role as General Manager of an IT/Technology SME, while at the same time developing his business in the Recruitment & Selection sector.

James brings a wealth of experience in recruitment, selection and development of new employees throughout his career.  He has a particular expertise in the sales and marketing areas, having hired his own teams in several organisations.  As a manager and recruitment professional he has worked both sides of the role, so he has a great understanding of client issues and concerns in this area.
