HR/IR Services offers an HR expertise in Industrial Relations, Employment Law, Bullying and Harassment to companies that do not have an in house HR expertise, or that has an in house HR service but have a need for a specialist HR resource from time to time.
Employment Law is a relatively new area of concern for employers given that most of the legislation has been enacted within the last 10 or so years. Yet it is a fast growing area with almost 30 separate pieces of legislation now on the statute books, and this as well as constitutional and common law.
The body of law continues to grow and enforcement is becoming stronger, for example; the National Employments’ Rights Agency (NERA) which has 90 inspectors with wide ranging powers is charged with enforcing employment law.
HR/IR Services offer
An HR audit to measure the level of compliance with legislation. If it is necessary this can be followed by the implementation of correct policies, procedures and training to ensure complete compliance with employment legislation.
An advisory service, for employment related queries.

Can an employee return to work during maternity leave and avail of the sick pay scheme?,
Is an employee on long term sick leave entitled to holiday benefit?
An independent dispute investigation service where such is required by the company procedures but is not available in house.

Transfer of Undertakings,
Contracting Out etc.
A training service on all aspects of employment law, equality, bullying and harassment.

With a wide range of qualifications, including a B.Sc., Dip. Employment Law, Dip. Industrial Relations, Dip. Continuing Education, Peter Daly has spent 30 years in management in major multinationals, being a General Manager of a major multinational with HR responsibility for the last ten years.
He has extensive practical hands on experience of dealing with disciplinary, dismissal, equality issues, redundancy, contracting, transfer of undertakings etc.
As well as implementing HR policies and procedures, Peter has a proven ability to manage people successfully, to manage major changes in an organisation and to deal with HR/IR issues backed up by a detailed knowledge of employment law and Industrial relations law.
